About Matthew

I have played cello since January of 2006 and I have been a singer for as long as I can remember.

My whole family loves music and we support each other very much. We are all very, very, busy and my mom's father was the Ambassador of Ethiopia.

My most memorable accomplishment is when I picked up an instrument for the first time and when I sang in front of an audience for the first time.

My favorite composer is J.S.Bach, and I love listening to Barbra Streisand sing - Definitely!

My goal is to be a broadway star, singer, actor, dancer, producer, or male model (lol), fashion designer, CEO, director, political activist, good dad, and great musician.

I LOVE music and I work harder than anyone I know.

Favorite Songs to Play

Long, Long Ago and Happy Days Are Here Again

Hobbies

Besides singing and playing the cello, my hobbies are drawing, reading, and acting.

I want to be on Broadway when I grow up!

Question of the Month

Why do you feel studying a musical instrument is a good thing?

Learning an instrument helps you learn something special that not many people get to learn about. It also is something you'll carry through life when you are older even if you are not a professional musician. Personally, MUSIC is just a special thing in my heart and I can't live without. That's why I think studying a instrument is a good thing!
